I am Andre, a 34 year old dutch guy, living in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
For work i am an IT Manager for a big firm.  Only recently, in september 2009, I picked up guitar playing with absolutely no musical background before starting this course.

What kind of music do i like?

I am fond of many kinds of different music (Funk, Blues, Jazz, Pop, Rock). But mostly i like Irish,  Cajun and american folk music.

Some of my favourite artists are Bob Dylan (the earlier folk), Leonard Cohen, Willy Guthrie, Balfa Brothers, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson. Kevin Burke, Joanie Madden, The Dubliners.  

Why a guitar and not another instrument?

Well most of all i liked the sound of the guitar in favor of a lot of instruments. To play it, it is an instrument in which you can physicly put your feelings and passion in.
