I love all kinds off music, , Ilike good muscician you can hear on the solo's, In the early years i like supertramp a lot, They uses a lot of instruments |
| What made you want to play music?: |
When i was nine years old, my brother had organ lessons, in my free time i read that books starting to play, and repeat the books very often that i didnt forget everything what was writen in the books. I practice everyday about 2 hours by myself when i was nine.
One very important thing was that everyone supported me, by compliments. When i was 12 i played on party's of 200-300 people alone on organ.
When i was 18 i started to play in a percussion group, i learn to play quicker notes and rhytms i could use in my organ playing and keyboard and piano. Notes are very important you can play immedatly, but improvise you can learn by play a lot. And you must dare to improvise. And learn also to play by ear. |
| Previous Music Experience: |
See my works as percussion teacher.
I'll do it 17 years.
Keyboard to much (lol) everyone asking me but i have not time enough, i wish a week had 10 days or so. Guitar i play only by my own.
And i play sometimes in a house for older people, but im also playing with a choir off children. And im director or instructor of 5 percussion groups.
The best therapie is music, what is a life without music, your feelings in what mood you are is telling you what music you love to listen or to play.
I love for example to play in the evening not much light on and improvise by playing for several hours what up becoming my mind.

I life in Nijverdal not in Wierden i couldnt choose. Im a drum teacher, mostly snare and mallet percussion, im instructor of 5 marching/concert bands some you can find on youtube. I have in a week about 40-50 students mallet and snare drum. And i lead 5 percussion groups, one in the top off the netherlands. In marching contest but also in indoor percussion. A job for a good teacher is always looking around for methods off others and never thinking your the best. Every student is different. And sometimes they need a method thats the best for him/her. I'll do my best to search and have many methods but i write my own method also. You are never too old to learn. Always ask yourself: do you realy want to play? "then you study every day, and no one should tell you to practice and you win a reward when you can play" Do you want, but you have no time to pratice? "dont start on that point" Make time think off what you can become. |
