i started the L&M Guitar course a week ago. should have been two weeks but i had a rather bad encounter with UPS. for starters, i live in a apartment complex on the second floor in dallas. there is always problems when i have things shipped here.. UPS never leaves it where i tell them to, and they've already thrown 2 of my packages over the balcony damaging one. the day my package was actually here, i was home and off work waiting on it. i never heard the driver knock on the door at all, apparently he was there in the morning and left an info notice on my door with the words "WILL THROW OVER BALCONY IF NOT THERE ON 2ND ATTEMPT" on the bottom of the note. so with how much this course is, you can imagine i got pretty mad when i read that. after talking with customer service on the phone and telling them the note the driver left they understood, apologized and offered to change my status to "willcall" so i can just go to the center and pick it up there that night. the driver who had my package was still out, and an hour late. i got frustrated and left. since that center is closed on weekends i wasnt able to pick up my package until the following monday. At least i was able to speak with the manager at that point, not about the driver being late, but about the nice note he left on my info notice. after explaining to her how much the package was worth, she understood my point of view and why i was upset with them. said she'll "have words with the driver..." because by policy they can only do that if i lived on the first floor. didnt exactly make me feel better, but it was enough to not want to use UPS ever again. |

We love having Steve as our mentor and instructor. He is so down to earth and just the type of person we need to help us learn. Looking forward to actually learning to play the way we have always wanted to but never took the time. Now we know this will take time and patience but that we are going to have a lot of fun in the process |
