I'm still taking it. I roughly started on June 1st and decided to give it a good go for the summer. I'm not progressing with the lessons as fast as I would like, but I'm still enjoying it, and trying to remember it's the journey, not the destination. I plan to keep working on it daily at least through this month, and maybe the rest of this year, and maybe beyond.
One of the biggest selling points to me was the discussion board. I guess I've read every post. I wish I knew how to contribute more. Yesterday I realized I enjoy playing drums to songs I wrote, with me just singing to them, and trying to be as creative as possible, on the drums. I've enjoyed adding bass lines, keyboards, and other counter melodies to my songs, now I'm enjoying adding live drums, and new beats to my songs. |

Ryan,
Welcome! That's a good question. The bottom of the main discussion board page shows how many people are registered, but not sure if that is L&MD or all course discussion boards. The Legacy team would have to tell us how many courses have been sold/shipped.
I like your icon - as a kid, Animal was my favorite Muppet character.

I'm taking it as well...it's coming along slowly, but surely. It's hard trying to do this course and the guitar one at the same time and then there are those annoyances - work and commute. It can be tricky finding time to fit everything in.

I'm taking it. Stuck on lesson 4, since that uses hi-hat via the pedal, and I don't have a pedal yet (electronic drums).

I haven't been very active on the boards for the last year but I'm still playing guitar and drums when I can. I can honestly say that the best thing that ever happened for my guitar playing was the DRUM course!

Bob! Good to see the boards back up and good to see your post. I have spent a lot of my time focused on L&MG over the last six months - I'm still drumming - just not as focused on the course material and not regularly enough to make much progress recently.
Take Care!

Hello Bach. There really is no way of knowing how many people are taking or have purchased this drum course. I can tell you that I bought it a while back and its right up there with the guitar and piano courses, which I also own. It takes the same "bottom up" approach with a very "human" and likeable instructor. My interest in this course stems from curiousity and an interest in further developing my overall sense of rhythm while playing music. My main focus is on the piano, but I' very happy with the knowledge this course is providing.
BTW...This course inspired me to obtain a 5 pc accoustic drum kit. Banging on the drums is fun...nuf said...pat |

Hey everyone,
Nice to see the board back up and in action. I'm focusing on the Keyboards mainly now, and plan to for about 6 months, but I'm still playing drums a little now and then.
