I've been working on this song and intro. With most of Slash's stuff you need to switch to the neck pickup and roll your tone down to non existent, tune to standard flat (down a half step from standard) and play a les paul through a Marshall. Nothing particularly hard in Slash's stuff technically speaking and he doesn't use a lot of different hardware.
